When we were born, we were connected to ourselves, and then as we began to experience difficult times in life, we disconnected from ourselves. In this disconnection we experience suffering (physical/emotional/mental). The aim of my program is to support my clients to reconnect back to themselves. As a person becomes more connected to themselves their own innate wisdom becomes their guide. This is something that can only be understood as an experience, just as 'love' can only be understood in this way. Therefore the 3-month journey is experiential, a journey into oneself. We need to get to the root of what is in the way of the connection to ourselves. As we learn to connect to ourselves, this deep wisdom, we carry into our lives. My aim is to hold a beautiful nurturing and safe space for you during the 3 months duration we have together, and at the end of these 3 months, for you to know how to continue this journey by yourself, as you will have gained such a deep understanding within you. As my approach is very much experiential, and therefore hard to put it into words, I feel you may get a deeper understanding by listening to what my past clients have to say about their 3-month journey with me. What is a connected state?
It is when we move out of a ‘stress’ state and into a state of balance. We become healthy because chronic illness/chronic anxiety/chronic depression is unable to survive in this balanced state. We move into a parasympathetic state for most of our day. Our nervous system becomes regulated. Our breathe becomes regulated. We feel calm, content and our resilience to life increases. Our immune system is now switched on. Our immune system cannot function when we are stuck in a disregulated state of fight, flight or freeze and therefore, we cannot heal in that chronic state. As we move into a more connected state this has a profound ‘butterfly effect’ on EVERYTHING in our lives.
